Are there any colleges that don't require a undergraduate degree before you can start their master degree?
I am asking because I should graduate next December with my degree in management but was wondering if I could start on my masters beforhand. Does anybody know of any schools (preferred online) that are accredited and allow for undergrads to start on their masters before?

No sorry. The only way to get into masters is to have a Bachelor's degree.

2
There are schools that would let you start your masters degree. Technically, I started my graduate degree before I finished my undergrad. There were two months of overlap of me finishing my undergraduate thesis and starting my graduate work. I had a 3.98 at the time I applied for graduate school and there was no indication I wouldn't finish my degree. It just depends on the school and what assures you can give them that you will successfully complete your undergraduate degree.

Junior to Mid-Level Quantitive Modeler Quantitative Risk Manager (investments) Risk Management (corporate) Global Macro Analyst FX Strategy Analyst Investment Analyst Statistician Financial Consultant Economic Analyst Lots of public sector jobs as well. A masterĂ¢€™s degree usually is required to qualify for more responsible research and administrative positions. A Ph.D. is necessary for top economist positions in many organizations. People with a masterĂ¢€™s or Ph.D. in econ, who are skilled in quantitative techniques and their application to economic modeling and forecasting, and who also have good communications skills, should have the best job opportunities. Like those in many other disciplines, some economists leave the occupation to become professors, but competition for tenured teaching positions is expected to be keen over the next few years.

I think this is the biggest school for Hospitality in the country. I have been there it is great and I would recommend it for anyone interested in this industry! They have MS and PhD Programs. http://www.hospitality.ucf.edu/ Good luck! :)

I know Cornell has a top-notch program. You can search by major on College Toolkit: http://www.collegetoolkit.com/college-search/colSearchMajor.aspx It may help you uncover a few more schools. Good luck.

I agree about the statement on Cornell. Definately on of the top schools in the nation. Couple words on it although, you'll need some experience in the field prior, not necessary but highly recommended and a degree (which shouldn't be a problem in you are going for a masters). Also I know that Cornell operates its own hotel to train its students. Also they have a campus in Singapore as well as their home campus's in New York. Will this masters degree help me

Will this masters degree help me?
I'm currently getting my Human Resource Management bachelors degree. I'm thinking about getting a master's degree. I wanted to get a human resources masters degree, but there aren't any available online. However, the MBA is offered. Would an MBA help me in work with human resources? Would I even be able to go get an MBA with my bachelors being HRM?
Higher Education (University +) - 1 Answers

Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :

1) There are indeed MA/MS degrees offered online in Human Resources. Some from some very good colleges.(Central Michigan, Colorado State, Clemson, East Carolina, Western Carolina, Indiana State, Kansas State, Penn State, U Ct., U OK., UTexas, Boise State, Boston U, SUNY-Buffalo, Florida State, Middle Tennessee State, NC State, SUNY-Stony Brook, U Illinois, U Wisconsin, Webster U) Bellevue even has their PhD in Human Capital Management (HR) significantly online. HR is one of those subjects where graduate study and online study are ideally suited since at this level you will be conducting considerable research on your own time. 2) An MBA in HR will be just as useful, possibly more useful, as an MA/MS in HR unless you want to teach college later - in which case you'll want a PhD and the MA/MS is a better path to the PhD. Make sure you need another degree in HR at all. If you really like the field then it might be useful but the BA in HR and the MA/MS in HR both qualify an entry level generalist. You might be better served, since you will have the bachelor's in the field already, looking at a specialist master's degree in an HR subfield such as training, labor relations, I/O Psych - Org Behavior, etc. Getting the MBA would open your options beyond the HR function but it too is a generalist degree. The MBA only has true value (unless it's from a top school) when combined with relevant work experience leading to a senior management position. 3) Yes, you should be able to get into an MBA program from HR depending on your GPA and GMAT scores. The best programs will require that you have some work experience first. The MBA is designed for people that don't have an undergraduate degree in business but need the business administration education.

Would a masters degree in loss prevention allow me to gain employment as a loss prevention manager or better

Would a masters degree in loss prevention allow me to gain employment as a loss prevention manager or better?
First let me tell you all about my background. I have 4 years of service in the US Army and I am currently serving in the Air National Guard. I have graduated from college with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice. I then worked 6 months as a shift supervisor at a CVS drug store which is the extent of my retail experience. I also have experience in law enforcement as a police officer (which was not a good fit for me or my family) and I am currently working as a probation and parole officer (much better fit) while serving in the Air National Guard. This is the problem. My family is a one income home and money is rather tight. I am not making the income that I feel I need to make as a probation and parole officer ($30,000.00 a year). I have heard others say that there is good money in loss prevention, but please understand I am not talking about being a store detective/investigator. I am refering to a position as a loss prevention manager at the store level, district level, or regional level. I am planning to use some extra college money I have coming to me from the military to earn a masters degree in loss prevention. Here is the main question. If I was to get a masters degree in loss prevention, would I be able to gain employment in loss prevention management at the store level or better without starting in an entry level position such as a loss prevention store detective/investigator???? I could not afford to make less than what I make now. What is the salary like in these positions? I know I have only had 6 months in retail as a shift supervisor, but I think my time as a police officer and especially my time as a probation and parole officer has given me the opportunity to look into the criminal mind which might help me with employment. Any advice about employment in loss prevention with a masters degree a masters degree, gaining employment in management, and anything else related to this would be appreciated. Please help me out. Have a good one.

I manage a store for a leading drugstore chain in America and I can tell you that the district loss prevention supervisors make probably about 40-45k give or take. It certainly isn't a bad job to have, as you get a company car, and they don't seem to have too difficult of a workload. Then, of course, you can move up to corporate level, but obviously the higher you get, the narrower the funnel gets and more and more people are competing for less slots. Good luck.

I am a professional musician with a Masters degree transitioning into Business Management

I am a professional musician with a Masters degree transitioning into Business Management...?
I will have a Bachelors in Business Management in a couple of weeks. After 2 years of being a stay at home mom, occasionally performing as a musician, I have no idea where to begin in Business Management. I have a ton of experience working with others as a leader and team member but because it is in the music industry, employers do not see my experience as justified. I am a hard worker who gives 110% on the job if I can be given an unbiased consideration. I forgot to mention- I am a Marine wife which means it is likely that I will move within 3-4 years in every location. I have been a private teacher for over 14 years but to network takes at least a year in any given area. I have looked into working from home for LEGITIMATE businesses in order to maintain a career- benefits are not an issue. Just a career! Any suggestions?? Thanks!

wow... i have a BS in Organizational Mgt - and guess what i'm doing right now? substitute f'ing teaching. seriously - no man in his mid 30's should ever walk where i've walked. it's tough baby- working in l.a. is a nightmare. and jobs expect more and more...

I don't know what part of LA County you are in but if you go to a WorkSource location, which is part of the EDD, they can give you information on different websites and they help you with resumes and how to do interviews. I have this one phone number, 213-629-5800. If that is not close to you, I'm sure they can give you an office near you. They have helped me and I hope this will help you.

7
Unfortunately, having a bachelors and masters tend to be of no help for getting a job in your field in Los Angeles and elsewhere. I don't know a single college graduate who is actually working in the field they studied for. For awhile, just about anybody could get a job in Silicon Valley in a computer company, but they had a huge crash and burn more than a year ago that wiped out 2/3s of the jobs. I'd suggest getting into a temp agency and hoping that some company you are temping for will remember you when they find it necessary to get a new person. They'll have to pay a headhunter's fee to the temp agency, so you will really need to stick into their mind as a good worker. Oh, and to titna_07 - the questioner said 'county', not country, nor do any of the answers use 'country'.

8
My advice is to focus less on your credentials and more on what you can do and what you enjoy doing. For most jobs degrees are usually just technicalities - its what you have actually done and what you can actually do that really count. I would also suggest concentrating on what you *really* (deep in your heart!) enjoy doing. If you enjoy doing something you'll be very, very good at it. You'll also be happy and that's gotta be worth something! Good luck! :-)

Transportation/Logistics masters degree with Information Technology background = What kind of career?
I'm getting my masters degree in Transportation and Logistics Management, and I have 7 years experience working in IT doing PC support, most recently contracting with state government. What kind of careers put those together? I'm not looking to do helpdesk at a logistics facility or anything... i'd rather get out of IT in that capacity.

Depending on the depth of your IT background, you could have a promising career as a technical coordinator for transportation/logistics. What this includes is finding out how technology can be used for your company, determining the hardware/software costs, determining the functional capacity of the hardware/software, integrating the hardware/software, and managing the installation and maintenance of the hardware/software. This really makes your title a roving one. In this capacity, you will transition from a project coordinator to a project manager to a technical manager of some sort. The only problem is convincing the company that they need this level of technology and someone to manage it.

In America, we prefer to see degrees from English-speaking establishments in our hires. Management is very communications-intensive, so you should be a native speaker or at least have your education from a university native to the place you want a job. This is not as important in science, math, medicine, etc... but management is a very colloquial trade, so you need to be working with people you can easily understand and associate with for the best results. If you want to work in France, I would recommend getting a management degree in France.

2
I would check with the college where you earned your degree in france. Most US companies who hire using a H1 visa will do an international check on your qualifications to see if they are equal to an American degree.

3
The amount of recognition behind it depends on the name of the university and who graduated from there before you. Also where is "there".

forget having it evaluated by anyone. It will just cost you a ton of money and perpetuate the higher education myth. (Believe it or not, higher education is not the end all goal. Employment is) So, the TRUE test is in the real world of getting a job. Apply for jobs in the field you earned your degree in. If you start getting called for interviews and are hired, you are fine.

2
Evaluate for what? There are many people with degrees from many countries working in the US. Employers know of the top schools everywhere. Your degree will speak for itself when you apply for jobs or for further education.

I was interested in the Masters degree in management information systems because i am really interested in that stuff and would complement my finance degree well. 2
My impression is that with a degree in either of those areas you could get a good job. Looking to the future, I think it would be difficult to say which degree would make you the most money. One thought, either of these degrees might allow you to take courses that touch upon the other one's area. For instance, I'm sure that there are business aspects information systems, and there are information systems aspects to management, finance and quantitative analysis. So with whichever you decide to go with, you could try to emphacize the aspect that most interests you. Once you are out in the job market, there is less emphasis on what degree you have than on what skills you have that produce results.

master's are consolation prizes for people who wash out of phd programs. but seriously: you get a little more academic experience, could potentially make good network connections, and when you get it you could possibly start a job at a higher pay rate than you would if you only had your bachelor's

2
Your bachelor's degree was very broad and covered a lot of area. It's a generalist education intended to teach you to read and reason and count and understand the world around you. A master's degree is very narrow and specific. The intent is to make you an expert on a specific field able to not only understand ideas but to synthesize new knowledge where it was separated or unknown before. It's more general than is the PhD though. We can compare the degrees to a river. The bachelor's degree is a very wide river but it's not very deep. The master's degree is a very narrow river but it has much more depth. If you're interested in understanding what motivates different people at different levels to accomplish a task; or if you find it interesting to examine which of the leading management theories actually produce results in different industries; or, if you wonder why the big three automakers are failing and whether it has to do with the management... and you'd like to quantify those ideas so that they're factual and not someone's theory or best guess; then the master's will be interesting to you. It will take all of those subjects you studied in undergrad and apply them to the management of labor and materials with the idea of earning money.

3
What can an undergrad teach that you didn't learn in High school? Its just a chance to learn more, at a more in depth level. Often in business it doesn't actually give you more money if you already have a business degree. MBA's for instance with Business degrees don't do much better and its often the same material covered.

4
You learn more specialized information and you do research. My daughter's undergrad degrees are Economics and Political Science (dual major). Now she is dual majoring at an engineering school in Transportation Management and Safety. While I had to pay the first semester, she is now doing research in transportation and safety that gave her a free ride for the rest of her grad degree. The is already establishing networking with the governor's office and the senators for her state and with the department of transportation. With her MS degree she is far more likely to run the department. An undergrad degree only caries the same weight as a high school graduation did 40 years ago. As well, my daughter's networking will also likely lead her to a free ride for her doctorate. Thus it is likely she will be running a major government agency in her state before she is 40. So if all you get is an undergrad degree n a useful area, you can make a reasonable living. But if you want to become a boss and rise higher then you need a masters or doctorate. My daughter decided that with only one life to live, she is shortchanging herself getting anything less than a doctorate. And will likely have two.

5
Going to school isn't always about how many $s profit the degree will be worth when you are done. Sometimes, it is about going to school for something your interested in, and learning a new skill. It's an experience. At least, that's what I think. You have the rest of your life to slave to the grind at a job and make dollars.

6
I'm going for a Master's degree almost solely for personal enrichment and desire to have a Master's degree. My program is Interdisciplinary Studies (concentrations in English & History) which could potentially boost my income, but not by tons or anything. My motivation is maybe 35% about income-boost, 65% about just learning things I'm interested in and having the prestige of a Master's degree. I say get your Master's! The Bachelor's Degree is still held in considerable regard, but ten years from now it will be so common and you won't stand out. Getting your Master's now will be worth it more and more in the coming years...

woah woah woah hold up there buddy! to get a masters you have to get a bachelors degree first. to even apply to any masters program in the united states, you need to have a bachelors degree or tell them that you're working on one (like in the dual degree programs). to get a bachelors degree you need a high school degree. if you do want to go to technical school, it would help a lot to graduate high school and then go on, learn a skill and work in it if thats what you want. if you want a masters, go to college first for your bachelors, figure out what you enjoy, pick a major, and then graduate with your bachelors and apply to masters programs to get your masters degree (avg 2 years in the united states).

2
A masters degree is in a particular field; there's no major associated with it because you're only taking classes in that area. But you do need a 4-year college degree (bachelors) to apply to any masters program. And that degree requires a major. You can't just jump straight into a masters program without a college degree.

3
you get a bachelors degree and then you get a masters degree. that is the process. you major in the field you are interested in, and then you specify further when getting your masters degree. the process takes 6 years on average.

Would you pursue PhD in Plant Biotechnology or a Masters Degree in Health Information Management

Would you pursue PhD in Plant Biotechnology or a Masters Degree in Health Information Management?
I am a little confused about my next step in my educational career. I have completed Master of Science in Biotechnology at Griffith University, Queensland, Australia in 2001/2002. I have molecular biology experience. I also have a diploma in Medical Transcription and have experience as a Home-based Medical Transcriptionist. With regards to Biotechnology I am keen on Plant Biotechnology. With regards to Medical Transcription I have researched on the internet and the next step is a degree in Health Information Management. Both are good choices. Pro for Plant Biotechnology is I just love being a research scientist and would enjoy putting in those extra years to gain a PhD in Plant Biotechnology. Pro for Health Information Management is that it is an online course and it too is a very in demand occupation. Please try and advise me about my future course.... Many Thanks in Advance :)

Depending on your home country. Scholarships to foreign student (outside UK/EU) is very tough and tight. It's somehow disturbing to know how international students without sponsorship have to go through hard period when studying. Not a total impossible situation. But you'll work very hard. One of the ways is to contact the Uni you wish to study from and find out if they have anything to support you. Regards.

I do think you should be able to get a job, since they have pretty much the same classes as any other school. at the end what matters is your talent, meaning how good you are in what you studied. About studying somewhere else after your BS talk to Penn Foster and ask, then call the university or universities you plan on going after it, and let them know your plans, they can tell you whether they do or don't accept the BS. some schools might not, so get prepared with different options. But keep going.

This is a stupid college if its website is pennfoster.edu because its canadian site is icslearn.ca and these have very stupid service. It call centre is located in US and if some one agent give you some discount, another one says that its not valid. Initially I took admission by looking discount on its letter by its Chief Academic Officer and start enrollment with initial fee and then I got another Tuituion Contract letter with differnt fee that we have not sent any such letter. I scanned and send them but they said that its by mistake. If some agent/CSR make you discount to get admission and later another one will refuse the discount and there is no access of phone to the CSR. If you cancell the admission due to their miscommunication instead of refunding your money they will send you a debt letter by paying the cancellation fee and other administrative charges. PennFoster (US) and ICS (Canada) is the same thing, same CSR/agents etc. I have te written proofs for them

You should look at what work the professors are doing. When you find someone doing research/work that really interests you (and is taking students), then you should go to the university where they work. Who you work with is often more important that where you go to school. Start by looking at scholarly articles about your field. Go to http://scholar.google.com/ and search for crises management. Pay attention to who has written the articles and where they work. Talk to someone already working in the field and find out what school they went to or if they know good advisers to have.

Is a Masters in Computer Science from University of Illinois Springfield employable?
I am looking at the University of Illinois at Springfield for a Masters degree in Computer Science. I am also looking at a Masters degree in Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. Would these degrees provide me with many opportunities for employment?

These may be more employable than any other degree. Almost every company in the world has computers to make daily business move more efficiently. People with any type of Computer Science or IT college training are in a good position to make a bunch of money. I don't have my degree but I worked for Hewlett Packard for years down in Houston. The IT support people made really great money. The computer Science guys made even more because they were trained to deal with the huge servers we had linking everything. Get some training to go with your Masters Degree. You can easily make over a 100 grand a year with your Masters and some training. I don't know were a Management Information Systems degree will take you. If has anything to do with computers it's a good choice as well.

Should I return to school for Master degree

Should I return to school for Master degree?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Tech Management. I currently have a full time job however not in my career field. There are not many opening, of course, due to the economy. I am considering enrolling for Masters degree in Management Info Systems, in the meantime or should I wait it out until the economy gets better and more job opportunities are available.

Yes. A Master degre always looks best on a job application.

2
Yes, with the economy the way it is now is the time. A Bachelor's degree does not hold the same weight in the job market that it used to ten years ago. A Master's degree will open new doors for you. Do it now so you will not regret later.

3
I say yes. I'm doing the same thing. the requirements are more demanding especially with this economy.

1. Can you afford to pay for a graduate degree? Financial aid is only in the form of loans..not grants for graduate school. 2. Will a graduate degree make you more marketable? 3. Will THIS graduate degree make you more marktetable? 4. Does the school you want to attend have a good reputation and strong alumni/placement offices to assist you in future job searches? 5. Are those future job opportunities related to a graduate degree in MIS? 6. Could you become more marketable now by completing specific skill certification courses to expand your knowledge - and - get a faster ROI.(return on investment) 7. If you go to grad school, how long will it take you to recoup your investment in the form of real salary dollars? If the majority of your answers are yes, then consider going for the graduate degree. If you don't know the answers, then you need to do more research. Some professions do like graduate degrees, but IT is tricky...job opportunities often have less to do with your level of degree as it has to do with your skill level.

How long does it take to get a master degree either in Business Management or Political Science field?
Hello: I just finished my High School. How long does it take to get a master degree either in Business Management or Political Science, if you study full time?

You need a bachelor's degree before you can apply to master's programs. The bachelor's takes about 4 years. A typical Master of Arts, Master of Science, or Master of Business Administration takes 2 years of full time study. Some people get done a little sooner and some take a little longer. There are many fields of business that are studied at the master's level, management is only one of these. Many people in poli sci go for a Master of Public Administration - this one is a touch longer and usually takes 2-3 years of full time study. So, from high school to master's degree in business or poli sci would be about 5-8 years. 5 years if you move through the bachelor's and master's quickly (I did that with mine) -- 8 years if you take your time and don't rush (my wife is doing that with hers).

Try Elance, it's a freelance site where you do things like writing articles for people, make websites etc things like that. Credentials help A LOT on that site and having a degree will really help if you are a new user. If you're looking for some extra money a month to pad your purse than you can look at the GPT site CashCrate. It's free to join and use and you fill out surveys and offers for free, if you'd like to learn more about it and see proof of payment you can as well. Hope this helped

Try local recruitment/employment agencies on/offline, read local display/classified adverts. Prudent people avoid unfiltered tempting and irresistible offers on Yahoo and Internet. This may not be the best answer for planted questions, but just a little legal disclaimer to help protect Yahoo's ethical experts who may be banned, blocked, excluded, locked/filtered out by Yahoo error 999. Yahoo must protect consumers, encourage and commend ethical experts. Yahoo error 999 must block, lock out, exclude online vultures promoting crimes, frauds, scams and spams. However, until then, for any genuine online business opportunities, work from home, data entry and paid survey jobs search google and yahoo for banned tyneham answers, alerts and warnings on the subject. See tyneham profile/blogs links, or email tyneham. Thanks for your votes and email support.

Try some online jobs, where you donĂ¢€™t have to pay upfront money. Online data entry is an excellent career to consider if you want to work at home. The equipment needed for this type of job is very minimal. You only need a computer with an Internet connection, a table and a comfortable chair. Data entry duties include the inputting of correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets into a home computer and then transmitting that data using the Internet. Work at home data entry personnel may also proofread text, edit information, and maintain databases. Data entry jobs usually offer flexible scheduling, allowing people to work when they want to and as little or as much as they want to. Some of the growing fields for work at home data entry include medical and legal transcription, medical coding and litigation coding. http://legit--home--jobs.blogspot.com/ This type of work is becoming so popular that many fraudulent websites have emerged offering data entry jobs, which promise huge profits. The best way to find a legitimate data entry job is visit a reputable career website. You are more likely to find a genuine work at home job using these websites. http://home-based-jobs-mall.blogspot.com/ There are several freelance websites that post freelance data entry jobs. Avoid responding to ads that do not list a company name or contact information. There are many reputable freelance work forums that can provide you with work at home data entry job listings. The forums are usually free to join and provide trustworthy information. Once you have found an advertisement for a work at home data entry job, check out the company by visiting their websites. You can also do an online search using the company name and visit the Better Business Bureau website to see if they have been listed as a fraudulent company. http://home-jobs4u.we.bs/

If you really want to work from home and make a sufficient amount of income, I suggest you do some online jobs like data entry, medical transcription, online tutors, online marketing, pay per click, pay per search..... Many companies ask upfront fees to give this jobs, Some companies by taking upfront fees they will scam you. Anyway no need to pay any upfront fees to get this jobs. For getting legit work from home jobs just visit http://www.workfrmhome.org/joomla

7
You could try http://www.elance.com/ if you are qualified, as it lists work from home jobs for people with qualifications. If you arent successful there, you could try other type of work from home jobs like data entry, but be careful of scams and dont pay money upfront. The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ). http://my-data-entry.blogspot.com/ Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of public forum. http://online-survey-income.blogspot.com/ I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work. http://freelance-data-entry.blogspot.com/ Hope it helps!

I make money at home with AmeriPlan USA. Now, its not a J.O.B. (Just above broke), buts an at home business. The difference is a JOB doesn't require money up front, where as a home business DOES require a small investment. But, you are your OWN boss, but you never work alone b/c we are here to help and mentor you EVERY step of the way. You could easily make between $500-$1000 per week if you are self motivated and dependable. You have a Masters Degree and you're looking for a job that lets you work from home? My ex had one in Haemotology and she was looking for work at home options too...debt is frakked up isn't it. Anyway, I don't know how your degree could help with this one, but you could try dropshipping. I wouldn't call it a job though, I don't believe you can actually find conventional jobs online. You join a wholesale company and buy items at wholesale prices (Wiis, iphones...whatever). You sell the products on Ebay for a nice little profit. The wholesale company will then simply ship the item to the buyer's address (which is what dropsipping is), You almost never have to handle the product. I suggest one of these 2 dropship companies with the best wholesale prices: Worldwide Brands http://www.freshclickreviews.com/Onesource%20review.html Esources UK http://www.freshclickreviews.com/esources%20uk.html An image representation of how it works http://www.dropshippinginformation.com/info_dropship.gif

A good place to start looking for online work is http://workathomedesk.com which is a free site with an excellent directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills or experience, you should be able to find several good leads there. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Have you tried blogging? I pay over a thousand a month to bloggers to blog about my company. Most make $5-$10 starting out per post. Once you are credible and get a higher PR website some bloggers make $20+ per post. I use PayperPost. Also listing a legit business opportunity I am involved with below. I am a titanium powerseller on Ebay to give you a little background so you know I am legit and know what I am talking about. There is a new business opportunity that just started a few months ago but has been in the works for over 3 years. It works with Ebay so you know it is legit. Doesn't cost much like a lot of home businesses only $29 per month. You earn up to $35 per new customer and up to 75% in commissions from Ebay just by giving out Free software. When they use the software your Ebay affiliate ID is embedded in the software and you get the commission - 100% of it. Plus 5 more ways to make money. http://www.mymarketinggenie.com/ultimatepaintball I see this as being one of the next big home businesses since it is one of the first that uses Ebay. Most home businesses only last a couple of years but with the backing of Ebay I don't see how anyone wouldn't join this opportunity. I am already doing well making more money than the $29 so already in profit. I am a titanium powerseller so I let everyone know about the new free software and then I get paid anytime they buy something from Ebay even if it isn't from me. Here is the free software so you can check it out: http://www.myshoppinggenie.com/ultimatepaintball

I don't think it's a very useful degree unless you're already employed at a firm in a top HR position to begin with. HR is a little different where they really don't care what your degree was in. You just work your way up and stick with it, you'll eventually be running the department.

Yes, in fact many people go on to do just that. You might be at a bit of a disadvantage in that you may lack the core courses, but you can take the ones you need. For example, when I was a biology undergrad, I worked in a lab with some other undergrads and some grad students. One lady had her BS in something like History or English or something like that. But she was in a Masters program for biology. She had to take the courses she didn't have. I think she did most of them at a local community college (they're usually called pre-requisites). But yes, it IS possible, not easy, not cheap, but if it's what YOU want, you will find a way to do it. Email some grapic design program directors at some universities and ask them what pre-reqs are needed to get into their programs. Then you'll have a starting point. Make sure you mention that your undergrad work was not in graphic design, but in MIS instead.

2
You can but you might have to take some prerequisite undergrad courses before you start the Master's course.

What is you're opinion on a master degree in Project Management from Boston University Online - Good or Not

What is you're opinion on a master degree in Project Management from Boston University Online - Good or Not?
I am looking at taking a Master's Program from a regionally accredited university (Boston University) in Project Management. It would be a Master's of Science in Project Management as the full title. It's not an 'MBA' but it does have similar subject matter within it's curriculum. It costs $38,000 in comparison to nearly $50K for an MBA. My question is - Is it worth it? Would this be looked upon favorablyby a potential employer.

Public Administration is a big thing nowadays---MPA. You can work at administration, in governmental agencies a the federal, state, regional and local levels..

2
Wow - congrats that's a real achievement! When I was looking for a Masters program I did a lot of searches on the internet and found one that met my criteria for a Masters in Technical Communications. I would not limit myself to looking in just Health Care as you may find something related in an MBA Program with a Health Care Focus, or you may want to look at a Masters of Health Care Information if you like IT. Since you are completing all the education at once you may need to take an entrance exam like the GRE. Best you - you've got a lot of time to find the right program -

wow wished i had done this a long time ago. I'm now 45 and just starting my school and trying to make it in this wild world. but this can help you to. try working on your job for a bit more and take the on-line school such as PCDI while you work and study at night, there's so Meany things you can do with this later on. your so cool and smart to do this now. good luck and i hope you all the best.

There are masters programs in public health (MPH), public policy (MPP), public administration (MPA) and health administration (MHA). I did a MPH in epidemiology/biostatistics. I admit I am not especially experienced in health care management -- all I know is that I don't like it (nothing against you, though -- it's just an ugly system). UC Berkeley has a dual degree program in MPP/MPH through their School of Public Health and Goldman School of Public Policy. I love Berkeley, and their program is very, VERY good. The program takes 3 years to complete. USC (where I did my grad degree) has degree programs for MHA and MPH. They are very good about letting students craft special degrees, so I am sure with some negotiation, you could do dual MPH/MHA. I did my MPH in 3 semesters, so I'm sure fitting a MHA in there wouldn't be that much more time-consuming.

Hi! Wherever you go, make sure that the institution is accredited... otherwise, your degree won't mean a whole lot to employers. Have you looked into American Public University? Classes are all online, and super flexible, and APU is both regionally and nationally accredited. It's also quite a bit cheaper than other online universities. They have a Master's in Management: http://www.apu.apus.edu/academic/programs/degree/106/master-of-arts-in-management And here's a link to their full program page: http://www.apu.apus.edu/academic/programs/masters APU students are also active online, and if you're on Facebook you should definitely check them out: http://www.facebook.com/AmericanPublicU You'll find that students and alumni are really energetic and willing to talk to you, they love helping perspective students and sharing their experiences both with the university and their experiences post-graduation. Also, check out http://www.onlinedegreereviews.org/ to compare any programs you may be considering, it's a great tool. Either way, best of luck, and please let me know if I can help you with anything! Nicole nendres@apus.edu

Yes it is, but the MArch degree will take you 3 years. Another option is to get a 4 year BS degree and then get your Masters in Construction Management, that should save you a year of school.
