It seems like relevant background to me, but you won't really know until you apply to PhD programs and see whether you get in or not.

In my opinion, between the two, it will be safer to go with Management as it is more widely recognized and accepted degree. Master's in niche areas help fetch jobs only in specific areas until and unless you are open to take up a job that is in a different area from which you specialized in.

What are the best jobs a student right out of college can get with a masters degree in business management

What are the best jobs a student right out of college can get with a masters degree in business management?
I am going to be getting my masters degree in business management soon along with a masters degree in computers and i was wondering what would be the best jobs to get with great pay. The only other experience I have in the workforce was a few years of construction. I am very young and want to make money and eventually buy some apartment buildings and hopefully make as much money as possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Finance is great... Investment bankers work hard but make >$300k. For example, Goldman Sachs' average salary is about $600k, and in good years even the secretaries get bonuses of $80k and up.
